Case study · Cloudland Station
From zero sales infrastructure to the strongest year in 15.
How a 15-year-old brand installed a connected growth system and put revenue back on a curve it can trace and repeat.
The challenge
Cloudland Station had 15 years of earned trust and a strong local reputation, but no modern acquisition system, so younger buyers simply weren’t seeing them.
They were an established brand with a beautiful product and real market equity in a competitive local landscape. What they hadn’t built was the digital marketing and sales infrastructure to match it. Their acquisition ran on a legacy Meta setup buying leads at roughly $40 each, a cost ceiling that capped every growth plan they’d written, and they were competing for the exact buyer every luxury developer chases, which meant paying the most for the least attention.
The symptoms were everywhere. No sales team. An out-of-date website and funnel. Ad creative that vastly underperformed, wasn’t platform-native, and had run for months without a single refresh. Every marketing and sales decision was made on emotion rather than data.
The gap was never the brand. It was the system to put that brand in front of the next generation of qualified buyers at a price that scaled.
What we built
We enacted our Betr Flywheel, a connected system where every stage feeds the next and gets cheaper and smarter each cycle.
- We advertise Betr. We researched the market and Cloudland’s past customers to build a social strategy that targeted the white space competitors weren’t touching, unlocking a lower cost per result and surfacing pockets of more qualified prospects.
- We capture Betr. We built a funnel around what we learned about their buyers, cutting the fluff and showing only what mattered, with a self-qualifying system that let prospects sort themselves and trained our ad engine on exactly what the dream buyer looks like.
- We nurture Betr. Every lead lived in an organized CRM, so no prospect slipped through the cracks and each one got guided toward the right fit. That same data surfaced new angles, ICP signals, and objections, which fed back into targeting and scripts.
- We close Betr. A trained sales team answered questions, built relationships, and moved prospects down the pipeline, educating them on how Cloudland fit their goals.
- We measure Betr. One dashboard pulled from every stage of the flywheel, tracking every dollar from impression to lead to conversion. A system built on ROI, not vanity metrics.
The flywheel compounds and gets cheaper and sharper every month, while outdated social marketing chases vanity metrics and demands more spend just to stand still, sinking ROAS and returns month after month.
The results
Within the first quarter, the system added $1M in front-end revenue, delivering the best quarter in the company’s 15-year history and making Cloudland the most profitable it has ever been. The ad engine drove that on just $10K in spend, a 100:1 return, while cost per result dropped 8 times lower as the loop compounded. That efficiency let the business reinvest and scale its marketing and sales department to the largest it has ever been, and the system is still producing those same results today.
